The Township of Pine is among a select group of high performing municipalities to become certified through the Sustainable Pennsylvania Community Certification program. Pine is recognized at the gold level of certification for meeting the program's rigorous performance criteria which tracks 131 policies and practices that define a sustainable community.

 

VESTED INTEREST in K9's, Inc. is a 501c (3) charity located in East Taunton, MA whose mission is to provide bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of law enforcement and related agencies throughout the United States.

FRIENDS OF PINE COMMUNITY PARKS GOLF TOURNAMENT
August 20 beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Olde Stonewall Golf Course in Ellwood City.

MOVIES IN THE PARK
August 21 - "HONEY I SHRUNK THE KIDS"

All movies begin at dusk (this varies throughout the summer months but close to 9:00 p.m.) In case of rain, movies will be shown the following Friday.

2015-2016 PINE-RICHLANDSCHOOL DISTRICT REAL ESTATE TAXES
Jordan Tax Service will be at the Pine Community Center to collect payment of the 2015-2016 Pine-Richland School District Real Estate taxes:

  • Monday, August 24, from 1:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Monday, August 31, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

 

SEPTEMBER

LABOR DAY
September 7 – Township Municipal Offices & Pine Community Center will be CLOSED.

GARBAGE PICKUP DELAYED WEEK OF LABOR DAY!
Regular trash and recycling collection will be postponed one day, the week of September 7-11, 2015, due to the Labor Day Holiday.

 

OCTOBER

TOUCH-A-TRUCK
October 3 beginning at 1:00 p.m.  See, touch, interact and learn about a variety of vehicles including: a fire truck, police car, tractor, dump truck, ambulance and many more!  DON’T FORGET YOUR CAMERA!

HALLOWEEN PARTY IN THE PARK
October 24 beginning at 2:00 p.m. Enjoy ghost stories, a hayride, bonfire, crafts, and a costume parade and contest.  A GOULISH GOOD TIME FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!

HALLOWEEN PARADE
Will be held at the Wexford Volunteer Fire Company, 228 North Chapel Drive, Date TBA. 
GOBLINS BEWARE CUZ FUNS A BREWIN’ with the annual Halloween parade, costume contest, games and food!  Join us for a frightening good time!

TRICK OR TREAT
October 31 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
