The
Seniors of Pine Township
The
Seniors of Pine Township meet the second Thursday
of each month for either lunch or dinner at a local restaurant.
Reservations are necessary. To make reservations, please
contact the Community Center at 724-625-1636 ext. 111,
no later than the first Thursday of each month.
Each person is responsible for his/her own transportation
and meal costs. If you would like to know more about the
Senior Dinner Club, please call the above number.
Community
Recreation Program
The Community Recreation Programs run from September through May.
- Recreational Volleyball is offered
on Wednesday nights and is geared toward the novice
player. Power Volleyball is offered on Friday nights
and is geared toward the experienced player. Both programs
are held at the Pine Community Center from 7:30 - 9:30
pm.
- Men's Basketball is offered
on Thursday nights from 7:30 - 9:30 pm at the Pine Community
Center. Teams are formed each night while play is competitive.
Summer Recreation
Program
The Township of Pine and Richland Township's Parks and Recreation
Department sponsors a Summer Program at the Pine Community
Center. The six-week program runs from 9:00 am to 12:00
pm Monday through Friday and is open to all Pine and Richland
residents between the ages of 6 and 12. In addition, an
open swim program is held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in conjunction with this program at
the Pine-Richland High School pool. Summer
Recreation provides opportunities for new arts and crafts
projects, sports, games, and special events. Certified teachers
and assistants supervise all activities. Click

Other
Recreation Programs
Township of Pine residents are also enrolled in other recreational programs
shared jointly with other municipalities and organizations such as
soccer, baseball, football, basketball, hockey and wrestling. The
following is a listing of the athletic organizations available to
Township residents:
