Northern
Regional Police Department provides police protection
to residents of the Township of Pine under the direction
of Chief T. Robert Amann. The chief and 30 full-time officers
maintain twenty-four hour road patrol. The police business
office is located at the municipal building and is open
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (724-625-3156).

Wexford
Volunteer Fire Company serves residents under the direction
of Chief Kenneth M. Young. Volunteers are always needed
and encouraged to attend meetings held at the fire hall,
122 Wexford Bayne Road, on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. (or call
724-935-1491). The fire company participates in a "mutual
aid" program with companies from Marshall, Bradford
Woods, Valencia, Ingomar, and Richland to further assure
adequate protection throughout the Township. In an emergency,
call 9-1-1.
McCandless-Franklin
Park Ambulance Authority is the designated emergency medical
service provider for the Township of Pine. The Authority
is a volunteer, non-profit municipal authority that receives
no tax dollars. They provide 24-hour Advanced Life Support
care with five fully equipped ambulances. To volunteer,
call 412-367-5883. For emergencies, call 9-1-1.
Crime
Watch Program, through the Northern Regional Police Department,
is an effective way to become involved with crime prevention.
