Adopt-A-Pineway

Groups of individuals, scout troops, church groups, businesses, homeowners associations, organizations, and even individual families can adopt a state road or participate in our local program "Adopt-A-Pineway" for local roads and streets. View the Adopt-A-Pineway Agreement (PDF) to get started. 

Community Day

Help organize the Township of Pine's Community Day. This annual celebration that includes a watermelon and pie eating contest, good food, crafts, and ends with a spectacular fireworks display. The event is typically held on the third Saturday in July. Planning meetings begin in February.

Easter Egg Hunt

Help organize the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Each year over 250 children participate in this fun-filled event preceding Easter weekend. The event is free to all Township residents. Planning meetings begin in February.

Friends of the Park

Friends of Pine Community Parks is a 501(c) 3 organization that  provide sports, recreational and social facilities and activities for the betterment of the community. Our goal is to raise funds and engage volunteers to build new facilities and to beautify, maintain, and expand community parklands. Learn more about the Friends of Pine Community Parks.

Halloween Party in the Park

Groups or organizations interested in participating in our Halloween "Party in the Park" will help with various games, crafts, and activities.

Litter Pick Up

Safety vests, gloves and signs are provided by the Township.

Recycle Rama

Township of Pine's annual recycling event. The first Saturday in May several vendors participate to provide a recycling clean up day for the residents.

Summer Recreation Program

Volunteers needed to help with our summer recreation program at Pine Community Center.

Trail Development

Develop and maintain trails in Pine Community Park and Pine Haven Park.

Pine Holiday Dazzle Show

Volunteers needed for this holiday celebration that includes:  a parade, carriage rides, bonfire and marshmallows, live reindeer, Santa's arrival, lighting of the tree, and fireworks. Planning meetings begin in the fall.
