04/02/2020 FINANCE DEPARTMENT TOWNSHIP OF PINE BUSINESS GROSS RECEIPTS TAX RETURNS
The Township recognizes that these are unprecedented times and many businesses are suffering hardships as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. The Township wishes to help mitigate the effects of the crisis by allowing businesses extra time to file and pay the Pine Business Gross Receipts Tax. Accordingly, the deadline for filing the 2020 Township of Pine Business Gross Receipts Tax Returns and payment of the tax has been extended from April 15, 2020, to July 15, 2020. Any 2020 Gross Receipts Tax Return postmarked by July 15, 2020, will not be assessed penalty and interest.
The Mission of the Finance Department is to manage the Township's financial resources in keeping with the adopted budget and according to the Code of Ethics of the Government Finance Officers Association. The Township Finance Department also acts as the administrative Municipality for the Northern Regional Police Department, with Pine's Director of Finance serving as Treasurer.
